The continuing optimization of the internal environmental protection is a main aspect of our business policy.
As first and only brush factory worldwide Zahn Brush Company was certified according to EN ISO 14001:2004, EMAS and FSC-criteria and is a long-term member of Umweltpakt Bayern (Regional Bavarian Eco-Management).
Here an extract of the environmental guidelines in our business policy:
- In the development and production process we avoid negative effects on the environment and staff. Our aim is to approach the compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements regarding the environment.
- We aim to develop a production process with an optimized raw material consumption and a low energy level. Emissions are being reduced and resources saved. For our products we use certified wood e.g. FSC.
- All used varnish and printing colours are saliva resistant. Our varnish and colours apply to the EN71 – part 3 (safety of toys)
