Zahn Pinselmanufaktur has topped off its very successful Casin Vegan and Kolinex brush ranges with the addition of the so-called sword mottlers. 

The development and manufacture of these complex painting tools requires the highest level of craftsmanship and in-depth experience in terms of hair processing and shaping.

The harmonious combination of a precise brush tip with a large-volume brush body requires masterly skills. This is why the brush maker can also be described as an artist in this case.

Thanks to their sword-like, elongated shape, sword mottlers inspire both professional artists and hobby painters and awaken all kinds of creativity.

Extremely long, even lines as well as large-scale calligraphy and smudging techniques can be achieved with the sword mottlers in no time at all.

The tried-and-tested synthetic hair formulas of the Casin Vegan and Kolinex brush series have been further refined to meet the special requirements of the sword mottlers and guarantee superior paint absorption capacity and shape retention of the brushes.

All brushes are handmade in Germany according to EMAS and ISO 14001 criteria following highest environmental standards.

All sword mottlers are designed with stainless steel ferrules and high-quality varnished beech wood handles from sustainable forestry, are available in widths of 15mm, 25mm and 35mm and are made by master craftsmen in Germany.
